In the mountainous region of Katoro District within Geita, lived the wealthy family of Victor Mwasega. Victor was a prominent businessman, renowned throughout the district for his immense wealth, which included the massive Mwasega Gold Investment Limited, a fleet of luxury cars, high-end hotels, and several commercial properties. Victor and his wife, Nikita, had an only child—a ten-year-old boy named Alphonce Mwasega. Despite his privileged upbringing, Alphonce was a difficult and stubborn child who refused to eat, causing him to become frail and sickly. He despised school and preferred to isolate himself, playing solely with his Batman and Spider-Man action figures, while aggressively driving away every nanny hired to care for him.
Desperate to improve his failing health, Victor and Nikita decided to take Alphonce out for lunch, hoping a change of scenery might stimulate his appetite. They drove their luxurious Lamborghini through Katoro center, passing Katoro Secondary School and the ELVD Nazareth Parish Church, heading toward Kalenga Restaurant. Known for its exotic dishes and exceptional service, the restaurant was a popular hub for wealthy families and their security details. Inside, as Victor and Nikita ordered, Alphonce ignored them, remaining engrossed in his toys. Their waitress, a polite and well-mannered Sukuma girl named Dohoi, noticed the boy's stubborn refusal to eat.
Approaching the table, Dohoi asked why such a handsome boy wasn't eating. When Nikita explained their struggle, Dohoi asked for permission to feed him. She learned his favorite meal was chips and liver. Bringing the plate, she bypassed Alphonce entirely and began feeding his Spider-Man doll instead, teasingly telling the toy that those who don't eat grow weak and get bullied. Enticed and tearful, Alphonce suddenly demanded to be fed so he could be strong like Spider-Man. To his parents' utter disbelief, he finished two plates and a glass of avocado juice. Amazed by this miracle, Nikita offered Dohoi a monthly salary of one million shillings—nearly triple her current pay—to become Alphonce's full-time nanny. Dohoi accepted and promised to start the following day after bidding her friends farewell.
Dohoi's arrival at the Mwasega mansion marked the beginning of a profound transformation. She and Alphonce formed an inseparable bond, to the point where she accompanied him to his prestigious international school, Element Lake Zone. Under her care, Alphonce flourished into a healthy, brilliant boy, motivated by his desire to be stronger than his favorite superheroes. However, his attachment to Dohoi grew increasingly intense. He became fiercely possessive, forbidding her from talking to his classmates, the house guards, or even the gardener. Every night, she would read him bedtime stories until he fell asleep, a habit everyone dismissed as innocent childhood affection.
Years passed, and Alphonce completed his primary education with Dohoi remaining the anchor of his life. But as he transitioned to Element Harvard Secondary School, puberty began to set in, and the dynamics of their relationship shifted drastically. Alphonce was no longer just a little boy; he was growing into a young man. At night, his dreams of Dohoi changed from comfort to intense, romantic, and physical desires. The innocent bond of a nanny and her charge was beginning to blur into something far more complicated. Is this still a nanny-child relationship, or has it become something else entirely?
