Daddy's CEO Desires Sweetness

"Mmh mama, I promise I will try hard and I must succeed," Paula said with determination.

"Alright, my dear, I promise you," replied her mother reassuringly.

"First, where is daddy?" Paula eagerly asked.

"He's busy with work, but he said he will come home early this evening because he wants us to eat together," her mother answered.

Paula sighed deeply, "I really miss him. We've been apart for three days now."

"And you, with your father! If it were me, you'd treat me this way?" her mother provocatively asked.

"I would miss you, my dear," Paula smiled, "You're starting your jealousy again."

"Yes, it's necessary since you all pretend not to care about me. But no worries, my dear, he will come back soon."

At that moment, a car engine roared outside. Paula's mother asked anxiously, "Brother?"

Following Paula's instincts, she ran outside and confirmed with her mother, "Yes, it's him, mama."

She ran to embrace her father who handed her a small pouch and said, "This is yours, my dear."

Overjoyed, Paula took it and whispered, "Thank you, daddy."

She then hurried to her room, passing her mother at the door who smiled and said, "I don't see you being uncaring at all."

Paula chuckled and entered her room. Sitting on the bed, she opened the pouch and found a phone and some fireworks. She felt immense joy; her father had bought her a phone.

She got up to thank her father, finding him smiling quietly and telling her, "Come sit here, let's eat together, my dear."

During the meal, Paula reflected on her close bond with her father and her older brother Alex studying medicine in Canada. Despite not being wealthy, their family managed a modest but content life.

However, after a few months, tragedy struck. Her father passed away unexpectedly.

Paula woke up and asked her mother, "Is this real or am I still dreaming?"

Paula pleaded, "Please, mama, tell me if this is a dream, and if so, help me wake up. I want to see daddy and hug him again; I don't want to sleep anymore."

Her mother couldn't comfort her and relatives came to help care for her.
