"Does the elder mother speak the truth?" Camira asked with a little surprise.

"Yes dear, get ready as you will be picked up early tomorrow, you are going to the city and you will be there working well, okay dear?" the elder mother said in a commanding voice.

"Okay elder mother, I promise I will do well, and I will send you money and good things from Dar."

"Now know that we are only relying on you. Don't you see how our life is, my child? All your relatives depend on you, don't let us down, alright?"

"Okay elder mother, I will not let you down. That is my promise to you. I will do everything to make sure I don't disappoint you. I remember our past life, we ate together, and during hardships like famine, we slept together. Even my biological mother died due to lack of medical care because we did not have the means to take her to the hospital.
